Mr. Espig will discuss how global trends are impacting the Canadian private equity business.  His presentation will focus on changing sources of liquidity, the move away from leverage in private equity transactions, and the growing importance in understanding the role of developing markets.  Mr. Espig will outline the difficulties that private equity faces in the determination of valuation parameters and will explain how “platform” investments are capable of providing superior returns.  He will share some of his recent personal transactional experiences to highlight and support the points made in his presentation.
