The Firm requires a Manager for its dynamic and growing Transaction and Restructuring Practice. Services include mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, transaction support, capital market transactions, restructuring services, valuations and fairness opinions, fraud risk management, strategic and commercial intelligence and financial modeling.

The successful candidate is required to have a recognized accounting designation, excellent oral and written communication skills, commitment to client service and willingness to travel.

The ideal candidate will be required to lead projects by managing engagement deliverables, timelines and budgets. The individual will work closely with the Partner/Director to develop engagement plans and to manage engagement risks in accordance with the firm’s risk management policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting independent business reviews and conducting financial and pricing analyses. Responsibilities also include assisting with restructuring/refinancing engagements and assisting with the developing proposals, presentations and reports (Information Memoranda, Valuation Reports, Due Diligence Reports, and other key documents). Additionally, the individual will be expected to assist with business development.

Requirements

  • A minimum of six years’ experience in consulting and/or auditing at a senior level
  • Pursuing or willing to pursue other relevant designation including the Chartered Business Valuator’s (CBV), the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or the Corporate Finance (CF) qualification
  • Strong people management and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability
